Saxon von Salzen is an adorable 2 year old German Shepherd.
Per his foster mom:
Saxon lives in a home with three dogs and three cats; he has no interest in the cats. Saxon will run around in the backyard with the dogs but would rather be with his people. He walks like a gentleman on the leash and is the perfect passenger in the car. He loves to gut stuffed toys but loves his squeaky newspaper and ball. He LOVES to play with the water coming out of the hose and the sprinklers are also a joy to play in, but is not a fan of the baby pool or the ocean. He has a more dominant personality when playing with other dogs and although he's not aggressive at all, some dogs might not appreciate this. Saxon is bilingual and knows both German and English commands. He is housebroken and uses the doggy door when it is open. He doesn't get on the couch or bed but does move from dog bed to dog bed through out the house. He has had the run of the house at night since he arrived in his foster home without any problems. He has taken to sleeping on the bathroom floor. Saxon is getting over a skin problem but once his hair has grown in, watch out, he is going to be a looker. If you are looking for a companion who wants nothing more to be with you and please you, Saxon is your boy.
